- The beauty of the landscape around Lake Constance was a source of inspiration for Erich Heckel during these years. - Typical, atmospheric landscape watercolor. - Together with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff and Fritz Bleyl, Erich Heckel was one of the founding members of the expressionist artist group "Brücke in 1905.
This work is listed in the estate archive. We would like to thank Ms. Renate Ebner and Mr. Hans Geissler, Erich Heckel Estate, Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance, for their kind advice.
